    Do you have any?

I have a fear of needles and a massive fear of wasps!

I can't even look at a needle without feeling faint! Hell, I went to hospital with someone once and they had to have an injection and I nearly passed out!! The nurse hadn't even given him the injection yet! I just accidently caught a glance of the needle in her hand and the next thing I knew I was trying not to topple over!!

Oh, my mum loves to tell the story of the time she took me to have an injection when I was younger and I wouldn't let the nurse anywhere near me. She pulled out the needle and I jumped out of the chair and ran off. She had to chase me around the doctors surgery! LMAO!!

As for wasps... I think they're worse. See, if I need an injection or blood test; I can do it now. I just have to not think about, or look at at, the needle and I can usually get through it... sorta.

But wasps... no!! I have been known to run into roads and nearly get myself killed because the only thing I'm focusing on is getting away from an evil wasp!!

I can't handle dead ones either! I managed to spray one once in my bedroom at my nan's house, and I seriously had never run so fast in my life to get outta the room!! I went back later and pushed past all my fear at the time just to get inside the room and have a look for it to check it was dead.

It was. But I still couldn't deal. I slept on the sofa down stairs for nealy two weeks until someone else got rid of the body for me.

There's just something about them that I just can't deal with.

I can't even look at a picture!! Not even a drawing!! I seriously can't bring myself to hold a can of bug spray if it has a drawing of a wasp on it.

To be honest, I don't even like the word!! But I can, and am, using it so I guess I'm not too extreme in regards to that. But I really don't like it.

So yeah... I have problems. Haha!!

I have a strange phobia of fish, the food type and the swimmy type.

I cant even look at a fish without nearly heaving never mind put it in my mouth, Im not allergic or anything i just cant stand it.

one thing that scares me most are big fish like a salmon or something like that, when i do see one (even in the fish counter at the supermarket) i go into panic and have to brace myself on the shopping trolley (so i avoid the fish counter like the plague)

i am also extremely terrified of needles (Kitai i feel your pain) it even says on my dental records that im terrified of needles, and have you seen the size of the needles at the dentist i guess its so they can reach the back of your mouth. but still.

i remember when i was about 13 or summit when i had my tb jab. you know when you have the six needles thing first to see if you need the jab well when the nurse did this she said "Don't worry it wont hurt" and the six needle thing was a faulty one and sliced my arm open, it was horrible, but i think that ware my phobia came from.

i panic now when someone says "dont worry it wont hurt" its like a instinct lol

Wow! I've never heard of that before. That's pretty interesting. And that sucks coz it must effect your daily life quite a bit (like you mentioned with the shopping).

OMG!! I know the ones you mean!! I can't do dentists unless they give me something that makes me sleep through it.

There's no way anyone is getting a needle anywhere near my mouth!!

Although, that's not the only reason; I also can't stand the thought or feeling of something messing with my mouth. Check-ups make me cringe and throw-up because of the feeling of the gloves they use.

    O_O;

    Duuude... *hugs*

I always have a fear a needle will snap or something when it's in my arm or something!!

I hated that six needle thing. It was like a stapler!!

I hate it when people say that. It does hurt. It pisses me off when people say that to me because I detest liars and it's a stupid thing to say.

My mum and people used to say that to me and all it did was make me angry with them and not trust them after I found out the truth.

I do have a phobia, but the reasoning behind it is silly and embarrassing.

I don't fear the dentist, I never have, for some reason. I do hate going, though, because they love sticking me with the needle. Now they don't give me Nitrous Oxide, which made the injection tollerable, it bloody stings. Once, I was given ten injections in one session; getting the feeling back took all day and at times was excrutiatingly painful.

Ok, my phobia is sharp objects near my neck and face, especially razors. I've only had a wet shave once, and I wasn't in control of the razor, which scared the sh*t out of me, excuse the language. I can only have a shave with an electric razor because of this, and it annoys the hell out of me.

I'm with Petal - I am absolutely terrified of spiders too. I've had this fear all my life and it seems to have got much worse the older I've got. Crying or Very sad

Now for a silly fear of mine. It's silly not because it's impossible, because it's not; it's silly because it's improbable.

I have a fear of being stuck in a time paradox and becoming my own Grandmother.

Anyone who knows this "world" will know that anything is possible.

I used to have a phobia of needles but I don't now. It's weird when I had an injection the first time in school I was scared out of my mind! But second time, calm as can be! Weird!
