To be honest, I don't know a heck of alot about all this political stuff, but I've been hoping Obama'll win.

And it's currently looking like he will! Which is awesome!!

Obama has won it. He seems like the person the people can get behind more than McCain could have donw.

Plus it's be a great day because Obama has been elected. He's the first black president in history. Now he's elected, it'll send a great message to people that any anyone no matter what creed or colour, that they can have any job.

Of course I believed that in the first place but that's boosted even more now because he's now the leader of the free world.

I agree that his being elected may boast others expections in life, but people seem to think that hes going to make that much of a different, from the other guy, he wont.
he is just the new face in front of the machine that is really running things

I think this result will open new doors for alot of people.

And I have to say that I was disgusted with the American white-folk who were saying they wouldn't vote for him purely because of his skin colour!!

I KNOW! It infuriates me just because people are so dumb and prejudiced. I was hoping for Obama to win the whole time, just because we need a change from Bush! McCain was just another Bush, wouldn't you agree? Now we've got Obama who seems really cool and has fresh ideas.

Now... we've just got to hope he doesn't get assassinated.... Sad

That being said it also disgusted me that black American who voted for him on the basics of his skin tone and not his polices.

Yeah, I did think of that too.

It disappointed me, but didn't really disgust me coz they wanted change more than anything, and to finally put an end to all this raciest crap, and they weren't being totally disrespectful towards white Americans (or at least, the ones I saw anyways), where as the white Americans were saying all sorts of things about black Americans, including remarks about terroism.

It actually shocked me how much America still has racism issues. And just how many of those Americans don't even think there's anything wrong with being racist!

I don't know alot about politics, so all I really had to go on was intuition, and through that, I always hoped Obama would win.

That could be because races do not mix in the same way as they do say like in England, but that being said when you go to places where they is less of a mixing you get more racism.

I hope he makes a different to all Americans and others round the world, and even stop American being a country that people dislike.
but only time will tell (but i don't think hes running the country anyway "illuminati" )

Sometimes, I'm not proud to be an american. But other times, I am. I'm happy to call Obama my president, because his change can't be much worse than Bush's terrible hold on us.

Dang... I've got to go. I want to type more....
