I kinda forgot to update here, but I've seen the whole thing. ^^; And yeah, I used to watch it online. But since it got licenced, alot of sites took it all down.

i'm getting the second volume for christmas so as tempted as i am to watch them online i'm trying not too. i'm a little way through the original series, do you think watching that would be too confusing while i wait to watch more of brotherhood?

Mm, I have alot of problems with the original series. It breaks away completely from the manga and just leaves so many plot holes and unanswered questions. It's nicely animated, and alot of fun, but... meh. The ending is crap. The movie is horrible. I think I've only managed to watch it the whole way through once. I've tried several times to do it again, but I give up once it breaks away from the manga.
I'd been hoping for Brotherhood ever since I started reading the manga and realised just how horribly different the other series is. I think, out of curiosity, you could watch both of them. But I wouldn't bother. I'd stick to Brotherhood.
