Dragonball

This is for discussion of the the movie due out in 2009.

Apparently it was originally due out this year, but it's actually not 'til next year now (so ignore the dat on the poster above).

I've never been a fan of the Dragonball series, but this movie has been intrigued. I've yet to find a real trailer for it, so if any of you guys manage to find one; please share the link. ^^;

Please becareful though, as there are alot of fake videos out there.

There already is a live-action one. But it's kinda old and not, well, Hollywood made. Whereas this one is. So more budget to play with, I guess.

I'm wondering how many of these films they'll actually end-up making. As much as I can't stand Dragonball, it has always had a pretty large fanbase in both Japanese and English speaking countries. So I would imagine, if they do this first one right; we may see many more to come.

I know there was a live action series, but this wasn't Dragonball. It was the series that Dragonball was based on.

I'm lost, which isn't hard, lol. Is she disowned because she doesn't like Dragonball or because she posted information on the film?

Because she actually wants to see this film.

Nothing wrong with Dragonball. I used to love watching the series, not Dragonball GT, that was just too bad.

I never could stand any of it and this movie is just a way for them to bump the franchise back up and make even more money out of it.

I've been going through the internet, searching for a Dragonball trailer. So far, I have only found fake videos including scenes from Films like Matrix, Fantastic 4 and even Deep Impact. But the most prominent movie used as reference is War Of The Worlds, in which Justin Chatwin (Son Goku)played Robbie.

At this point, the only real trailer I have found is a trailer of Behind-the-scenes photos. There do not seem to be any movie trailers, as yet.

Apparently, the first one is fan-made, and so not a trailer (and doesn't show anythign worth seeing anyways), and the other two are fakes. =/

All the comments left, the clips used, the pictures used, the music used, and the fact that they haven't released any trailers for this movie yet and won't be doing so until October. XD

It looks alot of fun. Definatly not a movie to be taken seriously. And, as much as I'm not a DB fan... I actually kinda sort really wanna go see this movie. ^^;;
