Dangers On MSN Empty Dangers On MSN

Okay, it's come to my attention that there's a bunch of virus' and such being spread via MSN/WLM lately.

So far, six people I know have been effected, and the virus is trying to spread by sending links out through their MSN program to everyone on their contact list.

As far as I know, I don't have any virus', but I'm currently scanning my entire computer just to be on the safe side. And I strongly advise everyone else to do this too - for both your sake and your friend's.

There's another MSN virus going around, apparently.

Do us all a favour and don't be so retarded as to click on any links or give your password to anyone/anything unless you're 100% sure it's safe!!

Sorry to be so blunt, but I'm getting sick of infected people's MSN spamming me with these dangerous links.

A little common sense goes a long way.

The dangers are not just on MSN/WLM. I have, recently, recieved 5 identical emails from people I know. None of them were flagged as a threat, until the last one, but I was dubious about them from the start. These emails usually have "Hello Very Happy" or variations on hello and different emote shortcuts. The content of these emails is to do with finding out who has blocked you on MSN. Once you are infected, it will send emails to everyone on your contacts list without your knowledge.

I would advise not even opening these messages, even if they are from people you know.

I would agree if it wasn't for the fact that these emails seemed to have infected a friend of mine just from opening it. She never clicked anything in it but was told she sent it to someone else when she didn't.

Ok. Apparently I've got spam coming out of my Hotmail address. Beware, guys!! Just delete it. I've no idea how this is even happening. =/

I've changed my password, and I don't know if this is happening on MSN as well as through email, so keep your wits about you and don't click anything stupid. XD
