I saw this had ghibli ties, looked at it funny and I managed to hit the jackpot.
I would do a review or something, but frankly my writing skills wouldn't do it justice, suffice to say that the plot, visuals and soundtrack are all fantastic. This is a DVD, I would recommend watching in Dolby 5.1, as it makes possibly the best use I've heard in quite some time.
The discs are incrdibly shiney AND even the outer caseing feels good!
One small bugbear, the R2 subtitles have two lines missing. I'm guessing the transcript was made from an incorrectly mixed 5.1 preview or something as both lines are only audible on from rear channels.
Even so, still five out of five.
Watch it!
And yes it does deserve it's own thread.
