an idea to get you minds in gear, intro better dead than zed! set in a small rural town usa, cops get a shout about a disturbance at a guys place, apparently he has stuck out at his gf. Leutent and sarg go out to kool off the commotion. Gets there to find guy bradishing a shot gun and his terrify gf hiding behind him!

of couse i have omitted some of the story line and added bits of my own. copyright and all. but i think you probably get the jist.

Firstly, instead of posting multiple posts, you can always edit your previous post.

Secondly, this is a discussion thread, not a game thread. If you want to make an RP, please read the RP Rules and even take a look at some of the RPs already in progress to get an idea of the sort of depth we would prefer.

If the others get back on here more regularly again (hopefully with some newbies too), I'd like to restart some of the old RPs. I miss them =(

I know what you mean, I miss the good ol' days when we were all RPing whenever we had spare time. Writing many pages on each RP at 40ppp, lol

Oh, my bad. Inspiration is not our problem. Unfortunately, it's the current lack of interest in RPing other members seem to have. With any luck, we can get out of this slump and get things going again

i really think you and your friend want t play some pencil and paper stuff, we could possibly make a small group up or attatchit t the war games club with my bosses approval. we already do dark herasy from fantasy flight. if its fantasy you like then dnd(wizard of the coast) or warhammer.(also fantasy flight)

Mmm, I don't. I've nothing against pencil and paper stuff, but I'm not really into it. I wanna get some RPs started here.

well se what chojin says if he comes downthe club. Written rp inspires me for game ideas, but with written you dont get that look of terror as you enemy reolises that last gun shot is his final sound on earth.

Online rping is more like story telling than random rolls of a dice. I find it alot more fun because it involves more thinking, and more creativity. I like using my imagination. ^-^

there is@a@lot of thought goes into random roll of a dice, i will do this, succeed or fail, with stories one out come, with dice you get that random what if,.

Any way a thought, why don't you start a thread or group on facebook, and see if your/his friends join in.

One outcome? Not at all. Especially because you're effectively writing a story with other people. You don't know what they have planned, and half the time, you might not even have any long-term plans of you own.

You'll have your ideas, including stuff you'll be hoping to develop/do with your character(s), but there's no set story or outcome for anyone. Anything can happen.

I've made a Facebook page for the forum, but I'm not starting actual RP threads on there. If people want to RP, they can do it here. That's the point.

The idea of advertising on Facebook is to encourage people to come here, like you yourself did, Wodan.

Anyway, this discussion thread is for the RPs in this section of te forum. I have made a thread for D&D, Warhammer and their ilk here. If you can continue discussing them there, it would be greatly appreciated

I already play D&D, warhammer and 40k..... was toying with the idea of a 40k rp.... but unless you have a workin knowledge of whatever race I pick... it would be a bit hard

Ikebukuro, Japan not the location you find a peaceful life, but then again, who honestly wants a life without some adventure? It's important though, to know when the adventure ends, and the danger starts.

In this town you have many people to avoid, but the largest threats are Shizuo and Izaya. Who you can always find fighting each other in the most random locations.

Everyone in this town has a secret, some more then one. No one is completely innocent, and most come for a fresh start at life. Only those who can handle the color gangs, two dangerous men, and still keep their humanity get that fresh chance.

Alright, shall do

Here is my RP idea:

A boy or girl visit a store where he or she is looking around. The owner then tells him or her if you are interested with the evolution stones (owner thinks that he or she is the one worthy of them). The boy or girl likes them and buys the stones, thinking there are replicas. He or she picks one of the stones and examines it. It glows and starts to change him.

Before you think this will be Poke-Morph story, Here is the thing. In this story, when one "evolves", they turn into a gijinka of a pokemon.

If you don't know, A pokemon Gijinka is a human personification of a certain pokemon (so basically a human Pokemon)


To signup, put your:
Name(of your character)
Gender (of your character)
Age (of your character)
Favorite Type( like fire, water, grass, etc.)
Favorite Pokemon:

And that it. Hope folks will signup for the RP. A

ALSO, What should the title be

Some rules and guidelines I made up:
-VERY little to no sexual content
-NO Pokemorph (tails, ears, fangs, etc. are ok as long as the character still looks human)
-NO killing
-NO God mode
-You can have as many "moves" (like in the game) as long as the majority is your favorite (chosen) type.
-You can have a battle between transformed people (1 on 1, 2 on 2, and 3 on 3 only)

so long as you ain't that obnoxiousness kid. go team rocket!!!!

Well, Danio, that's certainly a start. Before it can be used, though, we're going to need a bit more of storyline. Why are these seemingly normal evolution stones turnings people into Gijinka? Where did the stones come from? Is being a Gijinka a problem for people? If so, what are thy going to do about it? Possible entertainment and/or challenge featuring Gijinka (Gijinka Tournament/Gyms/League)?

I wanted it to be a secret but a lady resembling Arceus left it to the store owner telling him to give each of them one to those who are worthy (they get one stone each, first come first serve)

And I don't know about a TOurnamet idea...well...maybe other people from different countries were affected by the stones and gather to one spot for a tournament.

You didn't have to let everyone know, it was just something for you to think about.

If you read the Basic RP Rules, you'll find that we request you PM the ideas to Kuki and myself; we'll help you with details like that in a more private setting (Private Messages) so you'll be able to keep certain details from the general RP population.
