Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

I'd heard a long time that it was a possibilty, and finally, in April, my wish of having a remake of the series actually based on the manga for more than five or so episodes, may come true!!
Fullmetal Alchemist is coming!!
I really, really hope it's a remake and not a sequel. I love, love, love the anime, but the manga is so much better and makes so much more sense. So, ever since I started reading the manga and realizing just how different, and just how much was missed out from the anime, I have wished for a remake.
I'm so hyped about this right now!! I really can't wait!! April seems so far away!!
There is a very short trailer here: Clicky!!
And the line "the brother's journey begins", I think it's set to be a remake! I'm sooooo happy!! ^_______________^
This'll also be a great chance for anyone who hasn't seen the original anime, to get stuck into FMA and what it's really about!!
And, oh man, I just remembered how much this series made me cry!! O_O I'm gonna have to go through all the emotions again!! But hey, that's one of the awesome things about FMA; it really does have the power to make you laugh and cry. It's excellent!!
Oh, and I get to see more Ed!! Squeeeee!! =^-^=

This could be the best thing to ever happen to FMA!

So, it's set to air on 5th April 2009!!
I'm sooo exicted!!
And really happy that the original voice actors for Ed, Al, and a few others are doing the voices here as well.
Just a shame the complete cast couldn't do it. That would've been even more awesome!!
I'd like to know if they'll be keeping the original music. I mean like, the scores. Coz the music they had before was really powerful and perfect for every scene.

That had nothing to do with it.
They went completely off-story and made up crap as they went along. It's not like they just changed a minor thing or two. They changed pretty much everything!!
Yeah, I loved FMA, but there was so much in there that made no sense, and loads was left unexplained, and there were just so many mistakes in it.
The old FMA is basically a writer's fanfic for the most part as hardly any of it rings-true with the real story and it's characters.
It's always been my wish that they'd remake it to follow the real, and now they are!! =D

Can't deny her being a fangirl, but I don't see what's so fangirl about what she said? She's right. It's about time they animated the REAL story.

OMGOMGOMG!! WINWINWIN!!
It's finally here and it's awesome!!
The opening's great and the ending's cute!! =3
And I got to squee over Ed all over agian!! He's so cute and awesome and yaaayyy!! =^.^=
And his voice!! Squeeeee!!
I mean, I found out before (as I think I mentioned in a previous post) that it was gonna be Romi doing it again, but actually really properly hearing Ed's voice of awesomeness was just so, well, awesooooommmmme!!
I lol'd when a certain character popped-up a couple of times coz I know it's gonna confuse the hell outta non-manga readers. XP
Oh man, I can't wait for more of this!! =D

Re: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
really i didnt like it all that much o_O
well for me it was a big load of let downzzzzz
it just seemed that ep was rushed, trying to fit the content of 2 epsw into one
and making sure all the fan faves got a look in
i thought this was supposed to be more accurate to the manga??? its way off
+ point, its EXTREMMLY WELL animated

Alot of shows do that kinda thing with a first episode. I think it's coz they wanna make an impact and show as much of the coming elements as possible.

Nuh, I kinda like it that way. Keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering who'll pop-out next!! XP
The only let-down (and it's a major one) is the episode has bugger-all to do with the manga (as far as I can remember). And the whole point of this new series was to follow the manga's storyline instead of doing what the last anime did, and make stuff up as it went along.
But, again, I think it's just because they wanna give everyone a little taste of everything yet to come as they've already given us a slice of action, drama, comedy, and the appearance of a certain character previously only seen in the manga, and a certain thing linked to Issac's death, it's bound to hook people in.
So yeah... I loved it, apart from the nagging inside me going "this isn't what happened in the manga"... I've already had that during one series - I don't want it during another!! >_<
But I'm willing to bet the first episodes are just like this to kick-start things and get the anime-only peeps curious, and thus, hooked.
And anime+manga peeps, like me, drooling at the thought of all the goodies yet to come!!
Though... I'm dreading a certain few things too. I mean, let's face it, anime or manga wise, Fullmetal Alchemist has a way of not only tugging at your heart, but well-and-truely crushing it!!
But... anyways... on a lighter note...
Did anyone else get that feeling, with that guy going "Fullmetal Alchemist" during the eye-catchers, that they were playing a video-game!? XDDD
Seriously, it was like when you play a beat-em-up and you choose a character and their name is said out really dramatically!! XP
