    Internet Service Providers

Post by Fizzie on Tue Sep 30, 2008 12:58 am

You may have noticed me complaining about my internet connection on a regular basis, but, with any luck, that should soon be coming to an end. I called BT, and they'll be sorting me a phone line out on Tuesday.

And, once that's done, I can get on with calling Virgin to get myself online with them. So, no more sharing or getting banned from a network for no good reason. I can't wait!!

It also means I'll be able to play games online again too. So I can get my Xbox 360 online and kick some butt!! =3

Unfortunatly, it does have to be done down a phone line (which is why I'm getting BT to connect that). And, st the moment, I'm looking at getting the Virgin broadband package that also have free evening and weekend calls. This is because it's actually cheaper to get phone and internet than just the internet - for some reason.

It's 12 a month, upto 8MB, and has unlimited downloads.

If anyone has any recommendations for internet service providers (taking into account what I've just mentioned above), then please lemme know. I've been planning to go with Virgin, but I'll be double-checking prices elsewhere first.

I'm with Virgin and they always been good.

I've been with BT before and all I DON'T recommend them. Their prices are too high and if you have a problem then you're stuck with their customer service which may as well not exist.

Well, I'll be with Virgin when the pack gets here.

But I'll leave this topic open incase anyone ever has questions or wants to discuss ISPs in the future.
