    Room 1001 Empty Room 1001

Post by Nightwolf Sun Oct 12, 2008 5:36 am

Hey folks! Call this a bit of fun but this a game called Room 1,001. Now for those who know the tv programme, it's a show that celebritie's come on and have to try and put three things they hate to the extreme that they want to out in this fictional room and get rid of for good. The tv show is actually called "Room 101" but this is only for fun!

You guy's have to choose three things you want to get rid of for good and put a case forward WHY you want to get rid of them. I'll decide and see if they go in or not. Now bear in mind it can be ANYTHING.

    Good luck one and all!

    1. TMNT III: Turtles In Time
    2. The Neutrinos
    3. Stupid remakes of classic shows

...do I really need to make my case for these?

Number one can go in no questions asked. Let us never mention THIS film again. Or excuse for a film as I say.

Number two i've never heard of so you may need to make a case for them.

Number three is a mixed one for me but it can go in. These days remakes of old shows don't work. I admit I like the newer version of Battlestar Galactica but that's because it's got elements of the old show that work in the new one. The new Flash Gordon show? Oh dear!

For the third choice, I was talking about shows like TMNT and Transformers

    I second all over those.

And, NMD, he did say "stupid", so he's obviously referring to the crappier ones. Eventhough I think BSG is pretty crappy (but that's just my personal opinion and I never liked to the old show to begin with either). But you get my point.

I think he also means more like the remakes of TMNT (coz I know he don't like them), Biker Mice From Mars, etc.

And how can you have watched classic TMNT but not know who The Neutrinos are!? I never hated them, but they were kind of annoying... I'm sure I'll be reminded of why I never liked them when I come to their episodes all over again.

I was hoping to never see them again... but I guess I'll have to seeing as I'm re-watching all the episodes.

So they decided to invade the music business, as well?

Seriously, though, I didn't know it was the name of a band as well

Having done research on The Neutrinos, they go in room 1,001. I remember them being very annoying and thier voices did my head in!

    1. Chavs
I can't stand Chavs because they hang around in groups harrassing people because they have nothing better to do. When they're on their own, they can actually be alright, and usually won't say boo to a ghost.

    2. Chav wannabes
These are worse than Chavs because they're usually impressionable kids that have been caught up with the Chavs, somehow. They are even more gobby than Chavs because they have them as back up and think they can get away with everything.

    3. Pushers
Drug pushers and those that force people to drink... need I say more.

All three go in without any questions asked. Especially number three which can tie in with the first two as well.

Not at all. They deserve to be in there.

I'm throwing The Scissor Sisters in Room 1,001. I CANNOT STAND THEM! THEY MAKE NOISE NOT MUSIC!

    Nope!!

You need to make a case like everybody else! =p

If you're gonna just throw in personal annoyances rather than stuff that annoys most other people too, then you may as well just post about it in the What Grinds Your Gears thread instead.

    1. The Economy
It's already gone to pot and it meant that I didn't have enough money while I was in Japan and had to borrow more money off my mum about halfway through my trip Sad

    2. Global warming
Meant that when we went to the snow country in Japan we didn't actually get snow Sad Stupid snow not snowing Sad Also, it's bad for the environment...

    3. The terrible lack of pizza at my house.
Because I'm hungryyyy and want pizza.

    These are interesting choices.

Number 1 can go in because let's face it, the economy is a mess. The exchange rate is first rate proof of that.

Number 2 can go in with no other question's asked because all human kind has done since we've been around is mess up the World. I'm sorry to hear there wasn't snow when you went to that part of Japan.

And number 3 is a yes. You can never have enough pizza! I had some over the weekend and I have more in my freezer!
