I put up a status yesterday basically saying that I was surprised that I made it 6 hours, after getting up, without exploding at someone yesterday. Giving my situation, I'd say that was good. Eventually, the comments turned onto the subject of me and my lack of a love life. Someone mentioned dating sites and I said I've been on them for years, but never had any success. Someone said they wished they were closer so they could take me out for a drink and a chat. I made an innocent comment saying "You know it's bad when even even the internet can't find you a match" which, somehow, evoked a response that assumed I don't try to find someone myself. When I said that I didn't mean that I didn't try, and that if I hadn't have tried I wouldn't have been turned down, got told to stop being so... actually, here's the comment "babe please stop being so negative i could really shake you sometimes when you do this...... yeh but when 1 thing dont work for you you give up on yourself like NOW..... cmon... lifes for living LIVE IT, Love will find you when yr least expecting it... not when your too anxious ... thts what maybe puts people off x"

I actually fail to see how I was being negative. Yeah, ok before the conversation turned to dating sites, I was, but all I did was make a joke about how useless I find dating sites and prove her wrong about me not trying

Mm, in all honesty though, alot of your status' are quite negative. I'm not saying "don't post this-n-that", because of you think/feel something, then you think/feel it, and no one has the right to tell you what you can and can't post on your own Facebook.

But maybe she just had a negative tone in her head when she read it?

In any case, try to let something like that get to you. Like I said, she may've just read it with the wrong tone in her head. She seemed like she was trying to cheer you up rather than put you down too.

But I kinda know what you mean. It's like when something's going on, and someone tells you to "calm down", when you're already calm, but it's them saying that which actually pisses you off. XD

Exactly, I was calm. I was hoping the status would be positive conversation because of the fact that I had uncharacteristically NOT exploded at someone because of problems I was having.

I'm not denying she has a point, but there are other more tactful ways of doing it.

What a day... I agreed to do overtime, only to wake up with a bad head. I did the overtime, but by the time I came back to start my normal shift; I knew it wouldn't be long before I went home again.

But they made such a f*cking fuss about me going home. Sorry, but I'm ill. I don't want to take anymore time off, which is why I've been pushing myself as much as I can. But enough is enough.

Anyways, left about an hour and a half early. My head's still really bad, and I dunno if I'll be able to eat dinner tonight. I'm not even looking at the laptop screen much. Just trying to take it easy and stuff.

I had a lot of plans tomorrow, but there's no way I'm going tobe able to do them. I've got my bedroom to sort out properly because there's going to be a lot of traffic going in and out of it... er... it's not what you think; my cat, Tink, has had two kittens so far with more to come. The problem is she had them under my bed because people are too ignorant to close a door when they go through it.

I love rollercoasters... just not emotional ones...

Things could be alot worse. But then, they could also be alot better.

I've got a big decision to make, like I mentioned on Facebook. But I can't really say what it is here just yet.

I know how you feel with the whole "could be worse/better" thing. Sometimes I wish it would go either way just so I knew what to do with myself.

I'm not entirely sure what this decision entails, but I think I have some idea after reading your LJ. I'm usually on WLM, so you know where to find me

The Game

I think things are getting better now. And I think I've already made my decision. But... the weekend will show me what I really have to do.

I know the feeling. XD The crap with my ex only got resolved because I reported his abuse to Facebook.

Anyways. What've you been upto this weekend?

Nothing much, although I did buy an iPod Touch from a friend. It lead to me getting a couple of free apps then a stellarium on my laptop, lol.

...and now a planetarium.

I've had to uninstall and reinstall The Sims 3. Something was keeping it from saving. =(

Still, now it's a clean slate, and I'll be putting in only the custom content I actually intend to use right away. And I'll be doing it bit-by-bit, so I'll know exactly what screws up, if anything.

Means I've got alotta searcing to do though. So many Sims don't have their clothes now. >_< Still, we don't wear the same clothes all the time anyways, right? XD

Funnily enough, I started a new game a few days ago, too.

Kinda panicing abit, well, alot. I didn't get my transfer at work, so I'll be jobless when I get to Bristol. =/
