So, what's everyone been upto today?

Fair bit of housework, Skyrim, Time Crisis 2... yeah, I think that's about it, lol

I haven't really done much myself. I woke up with a headache, so stayed away from the Xbox (again).

Did a few things online. Posted some Sims stuff eventually. Made dinner. Think that's about it.

So, after the Joke Centre f*cking up our claim yet again, we had to fill in a JSA3 form. We did, and they received it on 8th November. They then sent it to another office to "speed it up". The other office may or may not have received it yet. It's now the 23rd. And if they have received it, it'll be at least another 5 working days before they'll sort it out.

What the f*ck do they expect us to live on!?

I'm not overly impressed with the Joke Centre, either. They have me as signing on daily. For the first week, they had me signing on between the times of 9 and half past. I complained many times to them because I can't cope with morning appointments when I'm getting only a few hours sleep. I've told them that it was because of insomnia brought on by depression. They still gave me morning appointments and refused to change them until they had seen a leter from the doctor. I'm not asking to be signed off, I'm asking for a later appointment that I can get to easier and be better prepared for, but apparently that's too hard for them to understand. They're giving me jobs to apply for outside of my search criteria, matching me to them so I have no choice but to apply for them.

And they still haven't sorted my claim out yet. I've had nothing from them for over a month. And, because of their f*ck ups, Housing has stopped payments too.

Luckily I got paid from work today, but I owe Kaze loads as he's had to pay rent and bills on his own since the trouble with the Job Centre. =/

They need to pull their fingers out

Literally, one of the first things I've done this morning is call the Job Centre. The lady I spoke to was very polite, and there was only so much she could do because, to quote herself: "As usual, nobody's put any notes on the system.".

It's been over a month since my last payment. And nearly a month since they received the forms they asked for to make the changes after their last f*ck up.

Someone's gonna call me back "before mid-day". But I already know that's not going to change anything.

Thanks to them, we're not getting any help with the rent or tax now either. We won't be able to afford our rent or bills next times around. And, obviously, that means there's no money for Christmas right now either.

On top of this; it's affecting my health. Both physically and mentally. So, thank you very much, JC.

Oh, and as it happens, I can't even afford to make anymore CVs. So this place that's meant to be helping find work, is actually hindering that process.

As I'll explain to them later; I can't afford paper or ink for my printer. And as I soon won't be able to afford my internet bill; I won't be able to apply anywhere online either.

That leaves me with having to rely on shops having application forms. And I'm willing to bet that if I went through all my job hunting sheets since I first came here in September, I'd find 5 places maximum that actually provided application forms.

Blah. Got a headache. Gonna try eat something and take some painkillers and anti-inflammatories to see if I can kill it before it becomes a migraine.

Also, I can't tell you how much I miss the Wednesday Anime in Cambridge. They may be the only thing I miss about Cambridge, but damn I miss them hard.

The anime club here is for students. I have to buy a card just to get in the building. Which I may do though, because the only other group we've found, a cosplay group, have already put me off them.

I've not even been yet because all their meets are on Saturdays, when we can't make it. But already there's been a drama, and today is the second time they've shown me how much their attitude stinks.

Really disappointed in them.

Just had a lovely shower, ate my Advent Calender chocolate, and thinking about playing Skyrim.

And! It's my 2 year Anniversary with Kaze today. <3

Mine was really relaxed. We went to see Kaze's family, which is always nice. =) And his mum makes such awesome foods. Hehe!!

Got lots of wonderful prezzies - none of which I was expecting (except the one from my cousin - hehe).

We got back home about an hour and a half ago. Flat is freezing coz the heating's been off whilst we've been away.

Got a few resolutions in mind. ^^;
