    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tmnt001

This is a topic for the 80's cartoon. ^_^

I remember watching this religously!! I used to love it!! And it's still a great laugh now. But I prefer the non-European versions as they weren't censored so much.

    And the censored logo:

I hate it when they censor things.

They even eventually removed scenes with Michelangelo using his nunchuks, and replaced them with random clips. How stupid is that!?

Leonardo was still allowed his swords, and Raphael was still allowed his sais, which are way more dangerous!

It used to piss me off sooo much when the colour artists got a Turtle's bandana the wrong colour. Even if it was for just a frame or two. It drove me nuts!!

Or when they'd dub-in the wrong Turtle's voice!! Gah!! I was a child and even I picked-up on these things! So why didn't the adults who made it!?

Regardless, I'd love to get hold of all the series' on DVD someday. Though I prefer an un-censored edition. Hehe!!

That series was great and I remember watching it when ever it was on. The new animated series' have nothing on that one!

I agree it was stupid for them to censor Michelangelo whilst two of the others were allowed to run around with sharp KILLING weapons. I can't stand it when things get censored and this really took the piss.

I loved the 80s cartoon, and I agree that the newer ones can't hold a candle to it. I've never really seen the un-censored version, though I do admit that censoring does ruin the experience.

Hehe, been watching my DVD of the seasons one and two!! So awesome!!

Being seasons one and two, it's Blue Sky episodes. Yayz!!

Just watched one of my fave episodes; The Case Of The Killer Pizzas!! X3

    On Enter: The Fly now, which means I've only got like, six episodes left before I run out. ;_;

There's four bonus episodes on there, but from what I've checked out so far, they're Red Sky episodes, which I never liked that much due to the character designs being screwed with to the extreme.

I mean, I liked the darker side of things, but the Turtles just... well they new designs never felt right.

And I'm wondering why they're included Red Sky episodes. Does this mean they're not gonna release the rest of the seasons on DVD? o_O

Coz like, Red Sky starts from season eight and runs til the final season ten. So why give us four random episodes from those seasons if they're gonna release them as a set anyways?

    --- Edit ---

    *sniffles*

It's all over... just watched Return Of The Technodrome, which is episode 18, and the final episode in season two.

Now to check out the bonus episodes, the first being The Beginning Of The End, which is episode 188, which is season ten, and thus, one of the Red Sky seasons.

The next is Return Of Dregg, which is episode 187, which is the first episode in season ten... why the shell is this one listed after episode 188 in this bonus list!? o_O

And the next is Mobster From Dimension X, which is episode 192, and again, another from season ten.

Then the next is The Day The Earth Disappeared, which is episode 193, and the second-to-last episode of season ten.

So yeah... all Red Sky episodes. I wish they hadn't screwed with the character designs coz that's the only real thing wrong with the Red Skys. >_<
