I've been thinking more and more about my Michelangelo costume I'll need next year! I did a Google search, trying to find somewhere that sells a really good one, but I couldn't find one. ;_; And I wouldn't even know where to start with making my own (and I have no sewing machine anyways).

I do eBay searches often too. But all I ever find are those kiddie "costumes" that are, well, let's face it; crap.

So if any of you guys know where I can buy a really, really good costume, or if you can make me one, or know anyone that can; pleeeeeaaaaase lemme know, k? =D

I desperatly need it for next year coz I wanna wear it for the Heroes Run, the London MCM Expo, and anything else I go to (including any Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 25th Anniversary events).

I really hope I can get this Michelangelo costume sorted soon coz it'll be my first ever cosplay type thing and I reallllly want it for those events. And being the Anniversary next year, it would just be so awesome to have it!! =D

I'm so excited about it!! And I just keep getting disppointed everytime I do a search for a costume and find nothing suitable. So yeah, if you have any leads what-so-ever, they'd be huuuuugely appreciated. =D

They don't really put much time and effort into those kiddie costumes, so the outcome is rarely good. And if you're looking for a good costume, you have to make it yourself, else pay an arm and a leg (so far as I know). But I don't have any idea how to make a good Mike-like costume. Plus, if I were able to make you one, I live in the US, so I doubt I'd be able to get it to you.... Sry!

I've seen a few costume makers on eBay before (all from the US, so I'd have to pay for shipping, but that's okay as long as I can afford it at the time). They make all kinds of anime costumes, so I thought I might try emailing a few of them and see what kinda quality and pricing I can get from as many sources as possible.

I'd love to cosplay if I could afford it, but time and money are two commodities I lack at the moment. I reckon it'd be heaps of fun to cosplay as my Dragoon/fighter, Rynne, one of my original characters. IDK what official characters I'd like to cosplay as, though.

Well, my cosplay for the London Expo keeps changing! XD

It was Michelangelo (TMNT), but that seems impossible to get hold of right now (a good one anyways). Then it was Sakura (Naruto). Then it was Maka (Soul Eater). And now it's looking to be Lacus (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed).

The reason for the latest change is because it'll be my first proper cosplay and I wanna make sure I choose something I'll be comfortable in. And I think I'll feel too self-consious in Maka's short skirt.

I was gonna do Maka in May, coz it should be warmer, and then Lacus in October coz she has a long dress to keep me warmer. But thinking about it more, Lacus is more Spring/Summer looking and Make is more Autum/Winter looking (what with Halloween), also, the Soul Eater manga is set for European release in October, so I could do Maka then to celebrate!! =D

My Lacus wig and hair clip came this morning!!

So excited!!

Gotta cut the wig's bangs though coz they're too long in certain places. But that won't be too hard. Hehe!!

And the hair clip's so heavy that I'm not sure it'll stay on, so I might have to make one myself out of a lighter material, but I still love it coz it's a nice bit of official merchandise to own. Hehe!!

Having done cosplay for the first time at the May Expo, I had a BLAST doing it. Loads of fun and a great way to display your love of whatever it is you follow.

I wanna do it again but the next costume I had in mind which was Kronnen from Hellboy but that's not an option since the costume would be MEGA expensive to do!

But all is not lost because I have a couple of back up plans for costume and they are both really good and not that much to get which is good!

My first cosplay experiance was also at the May London Expo 2009 and it was amazing!!

I did Lacus [Mobile Suit Gundam Seed] on the Saturday and Mike [Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles] on the Sunday.

The weather on both days was lovely!! And I was really excited, but also really nervous. But I had an awesome time and met lots of awesome people!! Hehe!!

Can't wait for more!!

my views on cosplay is it is great in any and all ways I would be happy to try alot of cosplays including crossplay

Have also thought about Lust [Fullmetal Alchemist], but not sure coz I hate dresses, and my female version of Greed [Fullmetal Alchemist], and my female version of Pein [Naruto Shippuden], and my female version of Soul [Soul Eater], and a Sim [Sims 2/3], and Kururu [Air Gear]. Lol!!

I want to start doing cosplay, but I don't know the first thing about it >_<
