It had nothing to do with the game what-so-ever!! XD
And I never could understand why they did such things like casting Jean-Claude to play Guile, who's American, and Kylie to Cammy, who's British! o_O
Oh, and here's some not-so-good news... apparently Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li is due for release next year. Oh joy... ¬_¬

Though these movies were actually fun, they were made terribly!! There are sooo many stupid mistakes in these films! I mean, c'mon! They pay peaople to sit through scenes/movies and check for mistakes, and the amount left in these films is just, just... y'know what!? Sack those idiots and hire me!!
And considering the second picks-up right where the first left-off, I'd love to know how Sonya magically gets a hair cut and a change of clothes!?
Did you know there was meant to be a third movie; Mortal Kombat: Devastation? But they decided against it after Annihilation did so badly.
But there will actually be another movie, btw. It may or may not be a complete re-write of Devastation (which is currently believed to be it's working title). But I heard they wanted to start-over, so it may just be called Mortal Kombat. It would be nice if they re-did the whole thing and gave us a good movie.
