Airbourne [2009]

Anyone gonna be at Airbourne this year?

I've already booked the weekend off as I'm hoping, if anyone's coming to Eastbourne for this, that we can maybe have my Turtle Party (which I've been hoping to have for ages now).

After their epic fail last year of trying to charge people for being on their own beach, and to watch an air show they can see anywhere else (such as on the pier, or on the other side of the beach, or the other side of the road, or even from their own homes if they're close enough) for free... they've decided not to do that again. XD

So if anyone wants to check out the market stalls, or go further down onto that side of the beach, we can do that.

I'm not really into the airshow itself (cept for the Red Arrows, coz they rock), but we can still check it out. And if we get bored, we can go Funtasia or Treasure Island or something and play some games and mini-golf. XP

Also, if anyone else wants to turn this into an excuse to cosplay, then I'm definatly up for it!! And I think flight themed costumes would be awesome!!

I'm thinking a bunch of us can just re-use costumes we already have and do a cosplay picnic somewhere or something. Just for the fun!! =D

Problems with work, so I can't get the Saturday off.

Yeah. Though I'm not sure yet of the arrangements of those who were hoping to stay at my place. I may just do the 10-7 shift (rather than staying the extra for 10-10 shift) that day, and then they can still come over if they want.

Maybe Princes Park would make a good location? Could also do the beach too, maybe?

What do we all think?

This sucks, but I guess the Cosplay Picnic is cancelled?

I gotta work Saturday, so those who were hoping to stay at mine won't be able to. And because of my ankle being buggered this week, I've got hours at work, so I'll prolly need to work Sunday to make-up for them.

I'm not majorly big on the air show itself (cept for the Red Arrows, of course), but I'll be down beach on the Thursday. Hehe!!

Also, I went Airbourne on Thursday and, though it was lacking in planes (and stalls actually), the Red Arrows were totally awesome!!
