by Sooo happy with the Final Fantasy XIV update!! X3 Thank the Twelve for "auto-sort"!! XD And it's so much easier to equip stuff now. And the loot list is so much quicker to empty now too. Just a shame "take all" doesn't actually mean take all right now. But meh, I'm hoping they'll fix that one eventually.

I think the only thing you can do, unless you wanna give the reinstall a try, is try posting on the FFXIV forum itself. Someone there should be able to help you.
My fix was easy. It was the fullscreen/windowed thing. Mine crashed anytime it was in fullscreen mode. So I just changed it to windowed (but a window big enough to cover fullscreen XD).
But I'd say try The Lode Stone. =)

Mum got a new computer, and she has said that I can play FFXIV on it... providing it's capable of playing it, that is. Not had chance to set it up, though.

Not happy. Mum's new computer is unable to run FFXIV. The only thing it fails on is the video card >_<

Out of curiosity, I decided to check the specs of my mum's computer again. I did the whole "can I run it?" scan and the results aren't making much sense.
Again, the only thing it failed on was the video card.
Minimum: 5122 MB NVIDIA GeForced 9600 series / ATI Radeon HD 2900 series or equivalent
I have: Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset.
Attributes (Required:I have):
Video RAM 512 MB:1.3 GB
Hardware T&L Yes:Yes
Pixel Shader version 3.0:4.0
Vertex Shader version 3.0:4.0
Spot where it's not making sense why it failed...

You see where the confusion is, though. Even though the video card scores higher in the above stats... I need not finish that, really.
I think there's a computer shop in town, so I might have a look in here and see how much a more up to date video card will set me back
