    Cloverfield 2 Empty Cloverfield 2

Does anyone have any information on this yet? I ask because I love monster movies, but the original Cloverfield movie was a real let down because of the way it was filmed. The monster itself is really interesting and I want a sequel to delve deeper. Smile

I'll do some scouring of the internet for information soon. The first one could've been done better, though it was kinda interesting to have it done using a video camera. That being said, they didn't have to use it all the way through.

Yeah. It would've been better to maybe have a random video or two, but have the rest of the movie shot "normal". I mean, as I think I've said before, I can see what they were trying to do, but it really didn't work for me. I wanted to see more of the monster!! X3

It's such a weird design. It's creepy. So so creepy. A brilliant monster design.

And I'd like to see more, and discover more.

Maybe the next film will be a prequel that runs into the first one with more shots of the monster and more "normal" filming. Can't remember if the monster died, or not

Will the film be handheld like the first?

J.J. Abrams said " if we used the same style again it may lose its gimmick; but we are not ruling out the fact that we may do it again." This means that Cloverfield 2 might be filmed like a regular Hollywood movie to be able to tell a deeper story.

Of course, it is up in the air. Abrams suggested they may be choosing another new style altogether.

By the sounds of it, it's going to give us deeper information on the creature and the events of the first film.

Yeah, it'll be much better as a normal monster movie. Very Happy

But what do they mean another new style? The style they used before wasn't new! XD
