The intro is this:
Though the streets seem empty at first glance, anyone into ATs will know that these streets, as well as many others in many different areas, are being used by other AT users.
From beginner to professional, the majority of Storm Riders seem to prefer coming out at night. This can be for a variety of reasons. Some just prefer the free, empty space in which to practise their moves, or test their skills, or meet with a group of friends and/or fellow AT uses for casual skating and general gatherings.
But there are others, usually the more aggressive kind of skater, who come out at this time with other intentions. Parts Wars, particularly Underground Parts Wars, are most often held late in the evenings and during the night. This is primarly due to their illegal status within the police force. And in the case of Underground Parts Wars, it's evenmore so, as they're usually considered illegal amoungst many Storm Riders too.
It's unfortunate, but at the same time, the danger seems to add to the excitement for most of the Riders. Though it does mean some Riders will go to extremes to prevent from being caught... which, of course, can end-up leaving a bad repuation for others.
And like any other possession or hobby, there are those out with some less than innocent intentions. The gang types, and the typical thieves, who prefer to cause trouble, beat on, steal from, and in extreme cases kill, other Storm Riders, just for their parts, their own reputations, or just out of pure jealousy.
Air Trecks... something created for enjoyment, and something which has the potential to change the user's life amazingly, can become such a double-edged sword.
It's pretty loose as it's only real purpose is to give people an idea. I haven't set any real back-bone story line, so players are free to create their own. And maybe we'll come up with something deeper later on between us. Or maybe I'll just throw you all a curve-ball and see how things go down. ;p
