Final Fantasy: Demo

Before we begin:

Please make sure you have read the Basic Roleplaying Rules first!!

Right, now, it's been a while since I've done this, and I've lost all my previous RP data when my computer crashed months ago. So I'm having to start completely from scratch here.

Okay, this is your very basic set-up as it's just a pratice RP. If it continues beyond that; great. If not; s'ok as I have a couple of other proper Final Fantasy RPs in-mind anyways.

The RP is a school-type place/campus, much like the Gardens in Final Fantasy VIII. So much so, that they are actually called Garden (because I wanna keep things simple and familiar for this one). Except these ones can't fly, so if a time of danger comes; they can't just be moved to somewhere safer. Which makes things a little more scarey, I think. Hehehe!!

The main threat... has not been finalized yet! Ooo, I may keep it as a surprise until it actually happens! Mwahaha!!

Anyways, for your bio, you'll need the following information:

Full Name: (your character's birth name)
Age: (your character's age)
Sex: (your character's gender)
Race: (your character's race)
Height: (your character's height)
Hair: (your character's hair colour, length and style)
Eyes: (your character's eye colour(s))
Clothes: (your character's clothing, including colours, and any accessories)
Job: (your character's main job class)
Skills: (your character's key skills)
Weapon: (your character's main weapon)
Alignment: (your character's alliance)
Personality: (your character's personality)
Background: (your character's background)

If you can't provide all of it then it shouldn't be too much of a problem providing we have the most important information to work with.

You can choose your race this time around are Hume only as I wanna keep it simple for this one. I'll add lots more races for the real RP when I get it started once we have more active RPing members to play to.

Limit Breaks and Summon Beasts are off-limits at the moment.

Obviously if they have no weapons, skills, whatever; you can state that they have none. Also, if you can't decide or don't want to give away your character's alignment; you don't have to.

I've just tried to give as many catagories as I can think of so you can have fun with it and we can know as much about your character as possible. Also, if you wanna add an extra something; go ahead. Maybe your character has a religion? Or you want to add likes and dislikes?

Other catagories you may want to add could be:

Known Name: (your character's name they prefer to be known by)
Nick Name: (your character's given nickname(s))
Hometown: (your character's hometown)
Garden: (your character's current Garden placement)
Beliefs: (your character's beliefs)
Likes: (your character's likes)
Dislikes: (your character's dislikes)
Hobbies: (your character's hobbies)
Family: (your character's family members)
Friends: (your character's friends)
Enemies: (your character's enemies)
Romance: (your character's romantic interest in/with someone else)
Occupation: (your character's occupation)

Hometowns can be named after whatever place you want from any existing Final Fantasy game. It really doesn't matter what places are called in this RP as it's just a bit of fun, but it'll be fun to have random recognisable place names popping-up. ^^ Hehe!!

All information is good information as it can be used for others to write-in and get to know your character(s) much better.

But again; it doesn't matter too tooooo much if you only provide the basic information. This is meant to be for fun after all, so don't stress yourself or bore yourself trying to think of things you really can't or don't want to. ^^;;

Also, please remember that bios can be updated (but must be approved before posting, of course) later on as your character developes. So things like friends, romance, etc might be best left 'til later. If you prefer, of course. ^^;

Not sure if I've got all the information for these Bios, but I'll go through them after I've been to my interview and make sure.

Name: Francis Hyne

Age: 19

Sex: Male

Class: gunner/fighter

Race: Human

Appearance: 5’8. short, red hair. medium build

Wears: dark denim jeans, almost black in colour. Red, short sleeved shirt. Black ankle length steel toe-capped boots, typical work boot style. The shade of his brown eyes, almost complement his red hair.

Accessories: Golden dragon pendant round neck

Weapon: Twin handguns (pyro and Zippo)
Fists and feet

Armour: strong, durable, flesh coloured bracers, almost indistinguishable from his own skin

Spells: fire based elemental spells, which he can incorporate in his own attacks if needed

Skills:
Trigger happy – Francis uses both guns, fully loaded, to fire many shots at his target(s). if timed right, Francis can produce an almost endless stream of fire.

Fire Shot – this technique comes in various strengths. The name says it all, bullets engulfed in fire.

Personality: Francis is a bit loud. He uses humour when faced with adversity, or just to get him through the day.

Background: Francis’ father was a respected engineer/mechanic, and always tried to encourage Francis to help him in his work, and so Francis grew up around machinery, until he left to join SeeD at the age of 11.

Before he left, he started training with guns, almost the same time he started walking. By the age of 7, he already had a licence to carry a fully loaded firearm. At around the same time he left for SeeD, he decided that ranged attacks would be no good for close range, so he took up various weaponless fighting styles.

After spending a few months at the closest Garden as a Mechanic, he decided that wasn’t for him. It was partially due to the fact that he was put in with junior classmen, all of which he could build machines around. he left Garden and returned home to do odd jobs for the people of Kalm.

Francis earned money doing many jobs, between the ages of 12 and 14, though some not as well as others. Using the vast amount he had accrued, he purchased what is now considered his most prized possessions, Pyro and Zippo. Since he got these, he has been able to further his abilities with guns.

At the age of 16, Francis decided that perhaps he should go back to Garden where he can put his talents to good use.

Name: Joey Strider

Age:18

Gender: Male

Class: fighter

Race: Human

Appearance: Joey stands at 5’ 5”, with a slight-medium build. His short, brown hair is often unkempt, but it hardly shows. He often wears scruffy jeans and dark sleeveless t-shirt. He also has eyes that are a deep shade of brown.

Accessories: a gold pendant with a mechanical spider adorning it

Weapon: none

Spells: magick

Personality: Joey likes to keep to himself some of the time, but he does like to have fun. He often puts his input into a conversation that he is not involved in. he can be amusing, but does know when to be serious. Joey likes nothing better than to be at the controls of an aircraft.

Background Joey was born in the City of Estha, where he spent most of his life living with his parents. His father, Walter, was a pilot for Estha Air Station and his mother, Teila, played Blitzball for the Estha Espers.

When he was 4 years old, Joey watched his first Blitzball game and fell in love with the sport. He would just sit and watch it for hours, especially if Teila was playing. For years, this was his passion, and forever would it remain. At the age of 7, he was beaten up pretty badly by a group of young delinquents and decided that he wanted to b able to protect himself if it ever happened again. And so, at age 8, he enrolled in some classes that would teach him how to fight.

When he was 10, his father took Joey with him to work, where he was taken on his first flight in the cockpit. When he wasn’t looking outside at the scenery, he was watching the controls intently. He soon realised that he had a love of flying as he watched his father’s everymove. 3 years later, he started taken flying lessons so he could do some flying as a hobbie.

Joey started his Blitzball career at the age of 12 when he first started to train with Valefor Garden for the first 2 years. Unfortunately he didn’t stay in Estha. When he joined SeeD, at the age of 14, he decided to move to Leviathan Garden as they had a more substantial Blitzball stadium and, therefore, better training facilities.

He stayed at Leviathan Garden happily improving his Blitzball skills, as well as occasionally taking the schools one small airship out for flights when he thought nobody would notice. Of course people did know, but they also knew of his penchant for flying. Unfortunately this only lasted for four years as Leviathan Garden was attacked by an unknown group of people, forcing them to either move or return home. Joey opted to move to Midgar’s Sleipnir Garden.

Age: 17.
Sex: Male.
Race: Human.
Height: 1m65cm.
Hair: Long, Curly brown hair.
Eyes: Greenish-Blueish.
Clothes: Black wasted allstar on his feet, not-really-tight denim jeans, a white T-shirt, wearing a black headband as a necklace (and not on his head) , his left arm is all wrapped up in bandages (? -can't really translate to english). When it's cold, he wears a very dark blue jacket. Carries a black guitar case, with lots of pockets, on his back, with his katana attached to it. He's skinny, although his muscles are defined, and worked-out.
Job: Rouroni.
Skills: Expert in the Musabetsu Kakutō Ryū close-quarters-combat fighting style, which goes with the katana. Feels nothing (pain, Status abnormalities). High speed regeneration of body. CAN'T use any kind of magic (and white magic has no effect on him)
Weapon: A medium sized Katana, named Kiba
Hometown: unknown
Previous Garden: None
Current Garden: Sleipnir Garden, Midgar
Occupation: Student, Musician
Personality: If he knows you, he's one of the best friends you can have, if not he just ignores you. If he's bothered he immediately picks up a fight (and usually wins). Other than that he adopts pretty much a neutral position in nearly every aspect. He's very carefree.
Background: He woke up on the middle of the Phantom Forest, possessing no more than the stuff he now carries. He was amnesic, he didn't even know his name, nor where he had come from. He only knew he liked to play guitar and was a Musabetsu Kakutō Ryū expert, as the guitar and the katana brought that back to his brain. He also know that he felt lighter, very very lighter. He could run really fast and nothing hurt on him, he didn't fell sleepy, nor hungry, nor tired. He realized he couldn't feel anything. He fought easily his way out of the Phantom Forest, to find what was wrong. Days had passed, and he was the same, still alive and feeling nothing. Feeling. That's what was missing. His soul. He walked on a straight line to find out more, until he reached Midgar. He desperately looked for someone who could tell him what was happening. He found a Sorceress named Rudava, that had come from the north, that told him he had lost his soul. But he had gained Abilities like High Speed Regeneration (almost instant).
After wandering the town of Midgar he heard about SeeD and thought of it as a good way to search for his past. He joined the Garden a bit late under the name of Raime.
