Soul Eater: Resonance

Before we begin:

Please make sure you have read the Basic Roleplaying Rules first!!

Also, before playing this RP, I highly suggest either watching the anime, reading the manga, or at least reading the Wiki page.

Contact me for details if you can't find the anime and/or manga.

I'm allowing up to three characters per player to start with, but if you wanna have more, then feel free to contact me about it and we'll take it from there.

It's up to you if you wanna make your own partnership, or if you wanna partner with another player.

And yes, Weapon/Weapon partnering is allowed.

The RP is very open to grow as we go along, but I would suggest starting with a new term at Shibusen.

There's also been short discussions about some Weapons that, seeing as they can partner with eachother, they see no use for Meisters, and maybe wanna do away with them or something?

But that's just a little idea that can be worked in if/when anyone wants.

Personality:
Unpredictable at times. She can go from dead lazy to buzzing with energy in less than a second (and vice-versa too)!! She lives on her own in a nice little appartment (which is usually a mess) and enjoys nothing more than goofing or lazing (depending on her mood) around all day everyday. She's constantly late for Shibusen, and if it wasn't for her brother, she'd probably never get there at all.

Her brother can never understand why, on school mornings she can't seem to drag herself out of bed without his constant scolding (and sometimes physical force), but when it comes to a weekend morning, or a holiday morning, she's up, full of energy, bouncing off the walls, before anyone else has even realized it's morning already!! And all this even when she spends all night blasting out music or playing video games!?

During lessons, she spends most of her time either daydreaming, or sleeping. Maybe this is where she refules herself ready for all her next energy burst!? In any case, it means she doesn't pay any attention, which usually reflects on her grades... not that she cares. Even when an exam come around, her "master plan" is to "wing it" - and she does. Everytime.

Even cooking her own dinner can seem too much like hard work for Chloe. If it's not cooking, muffins, or something equally fun and messy to "play" with - then she usually can't be bothered. Take out is her friend (and she has all the menus to proove it)... but luckily, so is her brother. And, though he's nothing against take out food, he'd much rather his sister ate something a little more healthy, a little more often.

Chloe can be quite sensitive, even if she tries not to show it on the outside (which usually fails anyway as she's not all that good at hiding things - especially from those who know her best). She's also very driven by her emotions, and this can sometimes cause problems, especially in battle. It's usually up to her brother to keep her as level-headed as possible in those kinds of situations.

Though she'd like to live life her own way, and accomplish things all by herself, Chloe is actually never happier than when she's surrounded by others (though she can be pretty quite and kinda shy around people she doesn't know "well enough"). Smiling is the most beautiful image she's ever seen, and laughing is the most beautiful sound she's ever heard. But if she told anyone that, they'd probably just make fun of her. Nevermind. She's just a dreamer, afterall.

Background:
Her motivation for soul slaying comes from two main things; her want to keep others safe, and her hatred of everything from liars and cheaters, to rapists and murders. The problem is that she despises these kinds of beings so much that she just can't bring herself to absorb their souls. And, where this means her partner, her brother, manages to collect more souls for himself, it leaves her without any. And though he tries everytime to pursuade her to absorb the souls she needs, all his efforts have come to nothing so far.

The partnership of these siblings is strong, but not without it's draw backs. If either (or both) of them is angry with the other, then fighting together is pretty much impossible until the air has been cleared between the pair of them. Luckily, the pair are so close that they can't even remember the last time they had a "real" fight, and they've never been able to stay mad at eachother for very long anyways.

And as Soul Resonance blends both souls, hearts, and minds, if either (or both) of them wanted to hide something from the other, then Resonance itself would be unsuccessful as either one (or both) of them would reject the other to prevent their secrets from being known to the other. Luckily, this problem is one that hasn't hit them so far as. But, regardless of how open and honest they usually are with eachother, the problem is still one with potential.

Lately though, Chloe has been getting the feeling that there might be something missing in her life...

Personality: Dehx is pretty level headed. He always has energy, but not to the extent as his sister when she’s “on one”. He is pretty organised, and has to be to deal with Chloe. He’s not one to shirk his responsibilities and likes to try and keep people in line.

Sometimes he can be a bit lazy. Mornings don’t agree with him all that much, but he can get up if he needs to. He doesn’t like getting up too late, especially when he has to be at Shibusen, as it usually means he has to stop of at Chloe’s to drag her out of bed.

Background: Dehx likes collecting souls and is aiming to upgrade himself. This isn’t a hard thing to do, as he also get’s the souls that his sister doesn’t want. He doesn’t like this as she needs to do the same, so he tries to convince her to have some; usually with little success.

Dehx lives on his own, not far from Chloe. Although he loves his sister, she can be a bit of a pain with her constant partying, be it on her own or otherwise. Things were simpler before she discovered the joys of music and games, at least then she had earlier nights. He didn’t like late nights, because it screwed him up for the mornings, not that he couldn’t do them, because he is quite capable of going all night long and still have enough energy to collect souls the next day.

Hair: Aerona's hair is dark brown. She usually keeps it long with bangs that frame her face. She prefers to have her hair up in some sort of hair-do so it stays out of her eyes.

Skills: Aerona is exceptionally skilled with her large weapon. Every attack, although often a bit slow, is extremely precise, and her abilities to calculate how to effectively overcome any obstacle make her a dangerous opponent.
Weapon: Ceto, a large Axe (pronounced "seto")
Alignment: Independent traveller
Personality: Aerona often comes off to strangers as a private person who prefers to keep her business to herself. She does prefer dealing with people this way, since she has never cared for any sort of personal relationships. To her friends, she is a very wise person who can be relied on for advice concerning almost any sort of situation. She is very calm and understanding but she occasionally becomes bossy or otherwise intolerable to the people around her. She has a superiority complex that almost instantly drives her to become the head of every group activity she participates in, from discussion groups to teams on the battlefield.
Background: Aerona grew up in a very strict family of warriors who were skilled in wielding large weapons. She was trained from a young age to follow her family's traditions. When she had completed all of her training, and was old enough to leave, her parents made her two offers: she could stay with the family and inherit the family's land, weath, school and title of Large Weapon Master or leave and follow her dreams. This was surprising to Aerona, because it was tradition that the eldest child was more or less forced to stay with the family and inherit everything. After a year of thought she finally decided to leave and explore the world on her own.

Not too long after she left home she happened on a small village that was suffering from the disruptive actions of a group of young men who called themselves the Red Moon. It was in that town that Aerona met Ceto, a Heavy Axe who came from a very small family of heavy weapons. She joined forces with them and was able to bring peace and prosperity to the town. In order to thank her, Ceto made her an offer to do anything for her. She immediately asked him to be her travel companion, and they have been traveling around the world together ever since.

Clothes: Always seen wearing his blue cowboy hat, wears jeans, a leather waistcoat and an undershirt made of small metallic links. Fingerless gloves.

Skills: Soul Resonance – Plasma assistance: despite devouring his partners soul, Ziggy can still battle in weapon mode as he is able to conjure a doppelganger of his departed partner to wield him in battle. This clone is an emotionless doll, linked to Ziggy, will not react to taunts and cannot act independently.
Soul Resonance – Soul Buckshot: His ace in the hole, Ziggy pulls his partner into himself and, while still in the air, combines their wavelengths into one widespread shot. If the attack misses he will be left defenceless as he tries to recover but it is utterly devastating.
Weapon: Shotgun
Alignment: Demon Weapon
Personality: A dangerously unstable fighter, Ziggy is a demon weapon who ticks all the boxes on a demon weapon requirement list. Cruel, tough and loving every secnd of it, Ziggy is a danger to shibusen students especially, as he was shunned for being too violent to his classmates and alledgedly eating his partners soul.
Background: Expelled from Shibusen for the crime of eating the soul of his assigned partner, Ziggy wandered aimlessly across the world. He would attack and consume the souls of any travelers or lone people he encountered until he met with a witch. They fought to standstill and the witch made mention of them joining forces. He did so and this was where he first learnt of the process of Demonizing weapons. Eager to become stronger so that he could settle up with shibusen, he gladly volunteered and had his blood replaced by the black blood. He thanked his newfound witch friend by eating her and her entire covens souls. He now bides his time, waiting for Shibusen to appear near him so that he can strike.
