Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I only had 2 characters on Oblivion, it was too easy to be a master of all trades. In Skyrim, you have to specialise, which I find better to work with. It's giving me the chance to really create my characters and give them a background.
Hmmm...

I actually keep a Skyrim journal so i can remember what my characters been up to; its really fun to read back And you can change the difficulty settings, i'm just not sure there's a "hardcore mode"

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
There is no hardcore mode. I've spent a lot of time on the bethsoft forums, seen the game get slated my MMO players because they break it by grinding smithing then wonder why they're getting raped by bandits everytime they go out into the wilds, lol. They immediately get shut out by everyone else that can clearly see that the game isn't broken... anyway, where was I going with that? Oh yeah, one of the complaints people had about Skyrim was the lack of hardcore mode.
